Portraits of Hope

Imagine putting yourself in Mary Magdalene's world as she learned to see herself as Jesus saw her.

In 2007, The Jesus Film Project released a film entitled Magdelena: Released from Shame. The story takes place in the New Testament from the perspective of Mary Magedelene, a well-known biblical character. Mary Magdelene's story is one of healing, as she had a broken past. But, the truth and life that Jesus spoke transformed her and gave her hope.

TWR Women of Hope was invited to turn the film into an audio drama series, thus opening a new way for perspective audiences to experience Mary Magdelene's story and learn how Jesus values women.
