Welcome to TWR Women of Hope's sparkling new website! We are so excited to share what God has been doing this past year and unveil to you some of the changes. We hope that you take some time and explore the new site. If you have any feedback, please drop us a line on the Contact Us page.

Why the new name and look?

For the last twenty years, Project Hannah has been our name and identity.  The name was chosen to be a reminder of Hannah in the Old Testament who begged God for a son (Samuel) to ease her suffering.  And, like our namesake from the Bible, Project Hannah was focused on directing women to plead with God for those who were suffering.

When Dr. Peggy Banks became the new global ministry director in February 2016, we began the process of prayer and evaluation. We asked God, “What do you have for us next?

Out of those prayers came the new name TWR Women of Hope.  Named after our first radio program, TWR Women of Hope’s identity is to speak hope and healing to women around the world across generations and to invite them to live out their faith through five actions:

  • Pray
  • Listen
  • Learn
  • Grow
  • Give

What else is different?

Besides the name, TWR Women of Hope has a new logo. The hearts represent how God unites our hearts to him and to each other.

We also have the new website, and there are new features to explore:

Publications

If you do not receive it already, make certain to subscribe to the prayer calendar and Heartbeat, our tri-annual newsletter. And, you can always download the PDF version of the prayer calendar.

Leadership

Prayer

Connect with others through prayer through a prayer forum. A special section of the website is dedicated just for the prayer requests you and others submit. Our staff will pray for every request and you can get involved by praying for the requests too.  Make sure to click the “I prayed for this” button on a request!

What can I look forward to?

The mission of TWR Women of Hope is unchanged from our original purpose as Project Hannah – to point women to Christ and to pray for women around the world.

With that in mind, you can expect to see more on our website with updates from Peggy, listener stories and, starting in June, monthly devotional articles.

In April, we will be releasing an all-new video, so make sure to like and follow @twrwomenofhope on your favorite social media channels to see it as soon as it is ready!

Thank you for your faithful support and prayer!

Whether you are a longtime friend of Project Hannah or a new acquaintance with TWR Women of Hope, we trust that we will continue to work together to seek God and speak hope and healing to each other and the world.  And, let’s pursue Christ and be women of hope together!
