Donors, supporters, and prayer warriors, like you, are how God empowers TWR Women of Hope to continue reaching more women with the Gospel. This #GivingTuesday, we wanted to say, "thank you" and to shine the spotlight on a few individuals who have contributed their time, talent, and treasure to the ministry. We hope you are encouraged by their stories, and please let us know why you support or volunteer with TWR Women of Hope. We would love the opportunity to listen to your story.

Martha

Martha is a self-described “Southern lady” who “loves God and loves her Southern roots!” She’s all about her family and has been involved with TWR (our parent ministry) since 1980.  Martha has been a donor and volunteer with TWR Women of Hope since our earliest days as Project Hannah, and “it was the perfect fit for me to volunteer.”

When asked why she continues to help with everything from raising funds to ironing tablecloths, she says, “I volunteer with TWR Women of Hope because I can’t stop – He has willed it and I must keep on. Jesus told His disciples not to lay up treasures on Earth, but in Heaven.  We all know that we can’t take our earthly possessions to Heaven, but we can take others with us.”

Pauletta

Pauletta has had a heart for missions since her high school days. She’s taught adults from over 40 countries English as a Second Language (ESL), shared her home with international guests, and has gone on short-term missions trips to over 10 countries, including China and Russia. Within TWR Women of Hope, Pauletta is ready to help with whatever is needed. She often uses her professional skills as a copyeditor to polish content for the website.

Pauletta donates and volunteers with TWR Women of Hope because, “The nations are being reached in an effective way [...]. I'm impressed by the quality of work that is being done, the character, sacrificial dedication and unity of those who are involved, the careful use of available resources, the scriptural foundation of all decisions, the lasting fruit seen in many nations. I love to be a part of a growing movement to reach the nations.”

Brianna

Brianna is a young professional and a new believer with a hunger to see women “walk in faith and the true potential of all God created them to be.” Brianna chose to spend her college internship applying her marketing and writing skills with our team. As she wrapped up her degree and began her first job, Brianna continued to volunteer in her spare time.

Brianna said one of the reasons she chooses to invest in TWR Women of Hope is the mentoring and support she receives as she blesses others. One of the most rewarding parts of volunteering is editing the listener stories, “It’s a nice reminder that we are not alone,” Brianna explains, “our sisters around the world are experiencing some of the same difficulties that we do! It is my prayer that God would speak through these stories and touch the hearts of women everywhere.”
