“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”  Isaiah 9:6

Dear Intercessors,

What a joy it is to celebrate with you the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. As we begin our prayers for the month of December please remember to pray for family and friends who yet do not know Jesus as their Savior.

I know that sometimes when we look at everything that is going on in the world, we can feel hopeless that things will never change. We may be tempted to lose heart or give up on our hopes that God hears our prayers. However, I believe that faithful prayer is our answer to hopelessness. By faith, we believe that there is a God who hears our prayers and is near to the brokenhearted. By faith, we believe that as we gather together to pray God is there with us.

Women who pray know that even though we can’t see with our physical eyes we believe prayers can be answered. We know that when we don’t know what to do, we pray to a God who knows everything and will work everything out for his good. When we run into obstacles over and over again, we pray, believing that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. We must never lose hope in a God whose love is always the same yesterday, today and forever.

Thank you, for a wonderful year of intercession. Your countless and sacrificial commitment to prayer has touched my heart very deeply. I’m looking forward to another year of requests that will storm the gates of heaven as voices from around the world lift up the name of Jesus. Thank you, for believing and praying to a God who is near and hears the cries of his daughters.

Thank you for your continued love and support believing that there is a God who can do much, much more than we can ever ask or imagine (Eph. 3:20). Please continue to pray for God’s guidance and direction as we enter into another year of faithful service to our Lord praying that God will bring many, many, more intercessors in the year to come.
