Dear Friends,

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking. … It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres" (1 Corinthians 13:4-5, 7).

How do we define love? There are so many ways for us to define what love is today. In fact, in English and many other languages, the word “love” itself can mean very different things. What does it mean in your language? The Bible tells us that "God is love" (1 John 4:8). But do we understand what that really means?

One verse that we know well is John 3:16:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

God’s love is a giving love. However, the gift is not in what God gave but whom he gave. God sacrificed and gave his only Son, Jesus, for our sins so that when we put our faith in Jesus, we will have the gift of God’s love now and forever.

This is an unconditional, amazing love. Do you know God’s love like that today? Have you put your faith in Jesus and received the wonderful gift of God’s eternal love forever?

If you have already accepted that glorious gift and joined with thousands of other TWR Women of Hope intercessors around the world, I praise God and thank you for your faithfulness in praying for those who are silenced and isolated, who are feeling very sad believing that no one loves them. God has not forgotten these women and desires that no one should die without hearing the good news of Jesus.

This month, please pray that women will know God’s love and put their faith and trust in Jesus for their salvation. Pray that women will know they can have a personal relationship with a God who sees them and knows what they are going through. And finally, please continue to pray that women everywhere will hear about this cleansing, renewing, empowering love of Jesus.

In Him our hearts rejoice,
